Road safety or Tall talks?

2 students killed, 7 injured in a terrible accident Airport Road near kurmitola General hospital on Sunday, 29 July 2018. They were the students from Ramiz Uddin Cant. School and College. As the bus rammed over by them, they were dead on the spot.

I am not going to the details about the situation as you have observed carefully what happened on that day. We all have shocked.

What is really happening on the roads. Are we safe or our life is stake? what is the concern of our authority? Who will take the responsibilities?

After the incident students from all over the country bursting grievance. Ministers from 2 ministries expressed their grief about the incident and assured they will take effective actions against the corruption and anomaly going is the public transport sector. So it seems that there might some change can occur in the ongoing situation and it needs as soon as possible.

According to, The National Committee to Protect Shipping, Roads and Railways (NCPSRR), a non-government organization at least 4,284 people, including 516 women and 539 children, were killed and 9,112 others injured in 3,472 road accidents across Bangladesh in 2017. So the death toll is pretty high and shocking.

Bangladesh has achieved the title of a developing country surely its a blessing for us. But the corruption can hinder the blessings. All we need to eliminate corruption from every sector and lets stop mud slinging each others.

One further step for change.
